This is where I blog about things I do, like, or find generally awesome. Often it will be farm stuff, frugality, and living green, but a little randomness never hurts. My real blog with more content can be found at http://raintogreen.com
I promised that later today I would show off the beans I canned. Well here we go. They were a mixture of beans that I grew last year. Hutterite Soup, Climbing French, Montezuma Red, Provider and Jacobs Cattle. I purchased the seeds from Seed Savers Exchange and GrowOrganic.
This was 3 pounds of dried beans, which when re-hydrated and cooked made 12 pints of beans.
I know I posted this earlier but just incase, the pressure canner I use is this one: http://amzn.to/Ybcksp
